I won a $50 credit to Shabby Apple in a blog giveaway recently. I bought these beauties with it.  Love!

My birthday card from Caleb. I love how it says, "not ugly." Kids say the funniest  things! I really loved that it also says, "is nice" and "treats people with respect." Too sweet!

Bella. My little blog buddy. She insists on sitting with me while I type.

The Boys are playing basketball for the first time this year.

Speed Thrifting~Spring Edition

This would have been cute belted, but I wasn't feeling the belts.

Loved the suade heals.

American Eagle dress $6.99, Target brand sandals $1.

I kind of cheated on this one. 

The sandals were bought at another time, but they were still thrifted!

The shoe deparment was rather sparce. 

I guess that's what you get when you drop by an hour before closing.

My Birthday Recap

Here is a little recap of my birthday weekend!

First my hubby made me brunch then I got a mani pedi.

In the afternoon we saw Oz and finished the night at a local habachi grill.

When you are bored chopsticks are the cure!

Our chef had mad skills! 

There was some seriously yummy grub going on.

I got the steak and lobster..... Oooooh so delish!

I totally didn't share...... hey, it was MY birthday after all!

I can always get a picture out of them when it's goofy!

I'll take what I can get.

Oh, and I requested absolutely no one would tell our waiter that it was my birthday. 

Leave it to Caleb to spill the beans! Thanks son!

 But I did get a good dessert out of the deal. The red face was worth it.

Can't forget to show off my mani pedi from my sweet husband!

Yeah, he's kind of great.

Dresser Organization~ Pinterest "Duh!"

Somtimes Pinterest just makes me say, "Duh! Why have I never thought of that?"

Like simply organizing your drawers so you can actually SEE your clothes!

Adventures in hair color

Ya'll know I like to change up the hair and since I am not cutting it, pink sounded fun.

I love how they just peek out the bottom. I can pull half of it back if I want to show more pink too.

Fun, right?!

My hair dresser kept complementing on how healthy my hair is looking and feeling. I have been using some new products and trying not to use too much heat on my hair since I am currently growing it out. I also have been using Wen (a cleansing conditioner) for a while now and that has made a huge difference in my hair's health.

I am going to write a blog post on my favorite hair products soon. :)

 I actully bought it for myself, with birthday money from my hubby of course. This was the first time I have gotten my own birthday gift from him. Is that weird? Or have you all done the same?

Life Lately

My new watch! An early B-day present from Kevin. My favorite white watch recently broke and I found this cutie at Macys marked down from $140 to $80 (it's Betsy Johnson too!). So, of course, I had to get it and now the Mr doesn't have to pick one out for me. A win, win.....

Thanks babe, it's exactly what I wanted (wink)! 

Just finished all The Hunger Games books...... Holy Molly... they were awesome! And I liked the ending. I hate when books have bad endings.

Going to read them again for sure!

Found Two pairs of Citizens at GW Outlet and they were actually in my size! $2 each. And I was just telling Kevin how I needed new jeans. Score my friends, score!!

I also found this at GW and it's working like a charm. Get lots of smily faces all week and you get a reward like staying up later, ice cream, more video game time, etc...

Kevin's coworker's wife (thats a mouthful)  made us this brittle with chocolate and almonds. It is out of this world good! Like amazing!

Getting crafty, working on this watch. I started off with an idea but it didn't turn out as cute as I expected so back to square one. A blog post will follow. : )
