Dollar Store Two Tiered Dish DIY

Here is an easy three minute three dollar project. I found the plates and glass candle holder at the Dollar Tree. The glass cement I bought at the craft store. You could really get creative with the plates and even add another tier.

Dont worry about perfection it will dry totally clear. But do make sure to get it centered.

Let sit over night to dry. Its that easy! Just fyi I would gently wipe down or hand wash after use instead if throwing it in the dishwasher.

Wash blackberries and measure out 1 1/2 quarts (about 6 cups) of blackberries and mash with sugar in a large bowl. Let sit 15 minutes at least. Bring water and pectin to a boil, boil 1 minute while stirring. Add pectin to the berries and mix for 3 minutes. Divide into containers and let sit out on the counter over night, then freeze. Fabulous Thrift Store Finds

Since I collet birds its only natural I would get some nests. Nest $1!

A very wrinkled top but its from Anthropologie! I got it for $1!! I am excited to wear it with skinny jeans and brown boots this fall.

Quilt and quilt rack $5. The quilt is so fun I love the bright colors!

Williams Sonoma towels $0.25 each! I love the cute birds of course!

I think this will be the perfect cell phone and key holder for the Hubs because I get tired of hearing "Babe where are my keys/phone?"

Frame, china bowl and egg beater $1 for all 3! I collect egg beaters so I was really excited to score this one.

Carved wood candleholder. This would also look really cute with glass votive holders as little vases and add some pretty flowers. This was less than $1! I could see it in the Pottery Barn catalog for $80.

A very sneaky recipe for "Non Veggie Eaters"

My oldest son Caleb is a self proclaimed "Non Veggie Eater." But little does he know that is an untrue statement because I am a sneaky momma. Any veggie I can grate or puree is fair game to make its way into his food. Here is a yummy sneaky recipe for Blueberry and (shhhhhh!!! zucchini) Muffins.

I prepare the recipe as directed on the box. Then I have the Hubs distract the kids while I sneak in one grated zucchini and some extra blueberries.

Whaa La! My secret always makes me smile when I ask if he enjoys his muffin.

Driftwood Wreath Tutorial

Hey guys. Sorry its been a while since I have posted. Between school starting, company and motherly duties I have been a busy momma bee. I also had surgery last Monday and I am still slowly recovering. Taking it easy and resting for days on end is extreme torture for me. But hopefully by next week I will be back to normal. Not going to the thrift store is slowly killing me!

Plus I am suffering from blog with drawls in a major way! I was finally able to do this project this afternoon. I plan to put it in my bathroom which I am going to makeover and post soon, promise! My inspiration for the makeover is beachy cottage chic. This wreath will be perfect!
