| Make yourself a round piece of fabric. I used a cup as my template. |

| Sew around the outer edges. |
 |
| No need for perfection here. |
 |
| Then pull the string tight till it looks like this. Then tie to secure. |

| Glue a round piece of felt on the back of the gathered fabric and use another round of felt to sandwich the bobby pin between. It will not stick on the bobby pin alone. |

| Here is what it should look like. |

| Glue a jewel or button in the middle of the fabric round. |

| Ta DA! |

Want a great tip for buying buttons and jewels? It is much cheaper to buy a top with some cute buttons or embellishments on it from the thrift store or even garage sales than to buy them from the craft store. Same goes for fabric, I often cut up used clothing and reuse it for projects like this.
