We were truly blessed to be able to spend a weekend away in Palm Springs.
We actually WON this trip from my hubbies work!
My wonderful in-laws held down the fort here so Kevin and I could have an amazing kid free weekend!
Very blessed indeed!
I think God knew Kevin and I needed this time together after a few very stressful months.
Here is what we did...
Our super cute condo. Doesn't look like much on the outside but is was really nice inside.
We slept on the top floor with the balcony doors opened all night listening to the chirps of crickets and the flowing fountain outside. So lovely!
The landscaping was very beautiful! We spotted lots of birds and even some bunnies.
I made Kevin strike a silly pose under Marilyn. LOVE it!
We hit up the local outdoor market. There was a ton of handmade goodies, fresh produce, entertainment and yummy local fare.
This lovely rotisserie of various meats caught my eye.YUM!
Speaking of meat.... just kidding!
This fella was one of the local talents, not sure what his talent actually was, but he was cute.
This guy was another entertainer that we enjoyed. Talk about multitasking!

The next day we rode the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway up the cliffs of Chino Canyon.
It is actually the worlds largest rotating tram. I have never been on a rotating tram before, it was really neat to be able to see various views in one ride.
I am sure grateful I'm not scared of heights because it was crazy high!
The view on top was truly amazing.
For our night out we went to the "famous" Melvyns for dinner.
Apparently it's where all the celebs go in Palm Springs.
I couldn't resist asking the waiter about any recent celebrity sightings and he informed me the previous week he waited on Tori Spelling!
It was super romantic and the food was amazing!
This may have been my favorite part of the trip, relaxing poolside.
It made me feel better to know anyone currently having or who have had active diarrhea was NOT allowed in the pool....LOL!
The landscape was pretty in it's own desert way. Lot's of cacti and palm trees of course.
So nice to be able to relax and enjoy each others company.
Lot's of great memories made!
Blessings, Nicole
