Berry picking and Blackberry Freezer Jam Recipe

Blackberry Freezer Jam

1 1/2 quarts blackberries
5 1/4 sugar
1 pkg or 6 TBS. Pectin
3/4 water

Wash blackberries and measure out 1 1/2 quarts (about 6 cups) of blackberries and mash with sugar in a large bowl. Let sit 15 minutes at least. Bring water and pectin to a boil, boil 1 minute while stirring. Add pectin to the berries and mix for 3 minutes. Divide into containers and let sit out on the counter over night, then freeze. Make sure to leave some in the refrigerator! Enjoy!

Mmm... I love blackberries. We have a raspberry picking farm nearby, but we have never been...
